About Us
AdvizeIT Consulting Services Inc. was founded in 1995 as a division of the BDO Dunwoody LLP accounting firm. Our mission was to provide IT consulting and outsourced services to the BDO client base. This small division quickly grew into a full service Information Technology consulting group, providing practical IT support services to small and medium sized businesses throughout the greater Toronto area.
By 2004, new Independence restrictions within the Accounting industry created the opportunity for AdvizeIT to branch out as a privately owned Canadian corporation. In June, 2004, AdvizeIT Consulting Services Inc. was purchased from BDO by two of its founders, becoming an independent business based in the greater Toronto area. AdvizeIT's core business continues in the loyal service of BDO's clientele.
